Beautiful panoramas of the Gore Range. Too bad it's a bit smoky today from out of state fires.

Out and back. A fun trail today. Everything was dry. On some of the steeper sections, some will find trekking poles useful.

5.1 mi — 2h 15m
:
Overall a very pleasant hike. If hiking clockwise, some hikers would benefit using trekking poles due to steeper terrain with uneven footing.

Two miles out and two back. Trail was dry with scattered feces. Watch your step!

Trail is in good shape. A few stretches of mud that are easy to get past. Some small stretches could use a machete just to whack back the vegetation.

Mileage is round-trip. Turned around when the trail got very wet/muddy.

Horseshoe: Easy/Intermediate
Black Bear: Difficult. Definitely a small amount a scrambling, using your hands to pull you up or go down. Good stuff!

Notes:
A nice trail all-in-all. Honestly, pretty average, but one of the best parts; it was July 3rd and nobody was up here. Recommended.
