Great snowshoeing trail, not too steep, very quiet.

Did it clockwise from Fairyland Point, which is probably the best way to do it because you finish downhill. Great to be away from the crowds!

The platform at the end had been wrecked by the heavy snows in early 2019, but the view was still great.
|
Notes:
One of the least scenic segments of the BST, just walking through the maze of roads. A new route should be cut further up in the foothills.

Amazing that something like this looms over the city! We built several cairns, but it could use several more in some faint sections.

Notes:
Not exactly beautiful, but enormous!

A great hike on a great day. On the way back we looped up through Chesler Park; the southern connector trail was pretty cool!

In a sea of arches, one of the best.

Completed in sections over 3 hikes

Notes:
Makes a great loop, much prettier and more interesting than the lower route. Easy to miss at both ends, because there are no signs.

We hiked to the top of this trail, then to the mountain east of the canyon. With no trail and very dense brush, this turned out to be very difficult.

I had no trouble getting to the trailhead in my car, and about a week after a rainstorm, there were only a couple small muddy pools.

We actually got fairly close with ATVs. A great bit of southern Utah in the north!
