Notes: Lots of snow the last 3/4 mile. The lake was still mostly frozen. Somewhat muddy on the trail. Beautiful views at the lake.

Notes: 23.8 mi : Great trail up to Misty Moon. Plenty of water and no bugs (sept.) Rigorous climb to the summit with lots of boulders. Excellent views from the top.

Notes: 18.4 mi : Saw longhorns, bison, deer, and sign of moose. River was easy to cross. Hot and dry. Beautiful. Some areas trail was hard to find due to game trails.
