“A paved sidepath to the Jenks Aquarium area from the east bank of the Arkansas and from southwest Jenks.
”
Family Friendly
Attractions around the Jenks Aquarium.
Description
This paved and unshaded sidepath begins at the Riverparks East Bank Trail at East 96th Street, crossing the river on the Jenks Pedestrian Bridge. The trail then heads south and west to South Elm Street. There are several at-grade crossings with unusual angles and motorists may not be alert to trail uses, particularly at the traffic circle. Crossing the Creek Turnpike access roads at South Elm Street should be done with care also.
The trail runs south on the east side of Elm to West 111th South Street then runs west for about 800 feet on a 4-foot sidewalk before resuming as an asphalt path on the north side of the street.
