Regardless of direction, the trail is a leg burner requiring putting on the breaks when descending in wet weather.

Description

The trail can be accessed from the park road or Cabin Hollow Trail. Heading south, the trail is a long descent with a steep section around half way. The trail is also rocky and root-ridden, much like the entire trail system.
