Description
This trail starts off Highway 431 and travels 0.8 miles to Jackson Creek Campsite. It continues to 3 Magnolias Campsite, then to Highway 281. Here, the trail turns left (onto Highway 281), and travels (for a short stint) before turning right (off Highway 281). The trail traverses a series of small streams and forest roads before crossing over Highway 281. The trail passes by a small cave and a small waterfall before reaching Highway 281. It turns left (onto Highway 281), towards the Shoal Creek Ranger Station. The trail turns right (onto County Road 500) and travels until it reaches the
Heflin Spur Trailhead.

Flora: Chinquapin Oak, Long Needle Pine, Toadshade, Yellow Jessamine, Heart-leaf Ginger, Honeysuckle, Greenbriar, Violet Wood-Sorrel, Wood Sorrel, Birdfoot Violet, Bluets, Pussytoes, Trailing Arbutus, Laurel, Cherry, Wild Onion, Redbud, Carolina Vetch, Oakleaf Hydrangea, Groundsel Tree, American Holly, Blueberry Shrubs, Striped Wintergreen, Beech, Reindeer Lichen, Christmas Fern, Resurrection Fern, Hairy Bittercress, Toothwort, Sleepy Cranefly Orchid, Gooseberries, Hepatica, Yellow Star Grass.
