The park is open daily year-round between 5AM and 10PM. There are no fees or permits required to hike in this park. In summer this is a horse riding and hiking trail. In winter (when there's sufficient snow) it becomes a snowmobile only trail (closed to hikers, skiers, and snowshoers).

Description

Parking for this trail is at the group camp and archery parking lot on the south side of 129th Avenue North. From there, a wide turf trail goes about 100 yards due west to a T-junction. Turn right (north) here and carefully cross 129th to the trail's continuation on the north side of the road. The trail rolls northwest through the forest for about 1.3 miles to where it passes under a large powerline.

The trail turns west here, along the powerline and the edge of a large agricultural field. After 0.5 miles, and a sharp turn to the south, it reenters the forest and continues northwest and across Diamond Creek. At 2 miles from the parking lot, go left (west), then around a loop that brings you back to this point. From here, retrace your steps back to the parking lot.
