Parking is not allowed at the trailhead, at the church, or surrounding private land. I parked on the edge of Byrd Park across from the water treatment facility, and there are quite a few parking spots here.
Need to Know
Hunting is allowed on the property and blaze orange is recommended during the season.
Watch for unleashed dogs when walking through the neighborhood.
Description
A short loop over easy terrain. The area is a peaceful escape from town. The blue A trail drops down towards a creek bed and brings you through some rolling hills, not often found on the flat eastern shore.
Flora & Fauna
At the trailhead you'll cross a small bridge and here you'll find a large cypress tree.
