Description

This trail (follows red blazes) starts from a random point off Hog Jowl Road and ascends the ridge. The trail turns right and travels over a small creek, in Nichols Hollow. There should be a small waterfall (on the left), when the creek is flowing. There are many marine fossils here, evidence that this part of Georgia was underwater in the past. From here, the trail follows over a series of switchbacks and crosses over West Brow. The trail crosses over a dirt road and continues until it reaches Sawmill Lake.
