All the major trail intersections in the park are lettered ("N", etc.) and there is usually a park map posted at each major intersection too.

Go south from the park's main parking lot, past the old swimming pond, to a bridge across the Buffalo River. Cross the bridge to Intersection N, turn right (west) here and climb to the top of the bluff at Intersection O. Circle around the prairie past Intersections Q and R to Intersection M at the River View Trail. Complete the loop back to the parking lot on this trail or go right (east) here to take the River View Trail back to the lot.

Over 250 species of wildflowers and grasses bloom in this area from late Spring through the summer months.
