Description
This two-mile loop is the main trail of the regional water authority Pine Hill
Trail area. It is a scenic, somewhat hilly, walk/hike through former farmland (with many stone walls) now returned to forest. The total altitude change is small, but comes mainly in specific segments that can be somewhat steep for short periods; it is fine in dry weather but could be slippery if mud or ice present.
The trail is clearly blazed (white square), but takes some abrupt turns. Particular caution is needed in the southwest corner (early in the hiking if looping clockwise) as the trail is smaller than a north-south service road which could be confusing.
