Need to Know
Pets must be on a leash no longer than 8 feet and under control at all times. Pets are not allowed in buildings, picnic areas or on the swimming beach. A pet picnic area is located at the valley picnic lot near the sledding hill.
This park has both summer and winter trails. In winter (when there's sufficient snow), the Yellow, Green, Purple, and
Orange Trail are classic ski-only trails. Hiking, snowshoeing, skate or classic skiing, skijoring and pets are allowed on the multi-use Red, Blue, Brown, Pink, and
Black Trail.
Description
This trail connects the
Yellow Trail, the
Green Trail, and the
Orange Trail to the park's main picnic area. An overlook along the trail provides a view out over the St. Croix River. It also connects with the
Black Trail, which is a short paved trail that goes down to an large, sandy beach along the river.
