Need to Know

Description
From the parking lot, following the trail directly down to the river. Big Spring Falls are where the Kettle River drops about 5 feet over a broad sandstone ledge. At low water, there is a beach at the end of this trail and wide sandstone ledges you can walk out on for a closer look at the falls. At very high water in the Spring, neither the beach nor the fall are likely to be visible. Be extremely careful when going near the Kettle River at high water.
