This trail starts from the parking lot, near the entrance to Weeks State Park. You can follow the trail northward or southward, since the entire loop will lead you back to the same place.

If you travel northward, you'll arrive at the Prospect Mountain Ski Trail at 0.3 miles. The trail arcs right, and crosses over the Old Carriage Road. It passes an old foundation, before turning right, then travels along the eastern slopes of Prospect Mountain to Davidge Path. Here, the trail turns right, to follow the western slopes of Prospect Mountain. The trail travels until it reaches the parking area, off Weeks State Park Road.

Fauna: Pileated Woodpecker, Black Bear Cub, Thrush, Garter Snake, Blue Jay (call), Raven (call), Chickadee (call).
