Description
Best an overnight one-way hike. Drop one car off at the end, and then it's not a long drive to the start at Angulevale camp ground. About 6 or 7 kms in is a campsite on the river with ample room for large groups of hikers. Recommend you take a fishing rod. The next day it's a gentle paced hike to get to the end. If you wish to spend another night out, there are a number of campgrounds but they are not next to the river. Trail is marked in places with tape or metal markers on trees.
Flora & Fauna
Wombats and kangaroos are often seem, and there's always plenty of bird activity. The area is renowned for the Karrajong trees that have very distinctive large seed pods and you'll notice these on the ground.
