Description

Lupine is an easier way to climb up to the top of Animas Mountain, compared to the classic Animas Mountain Trail. The meandering singletrack swings out to the west rim of the mountain, providing spectacular views of the La Platas. The switchbacks and grade reversals keep the climb reasonable, although it still gets a bit steep in the upper portions.
