This trail starts from the parking lot, and begins by traveling through open fields. At the top of the fields, the trail splits. Taking the left spur, will take you into the forest. The trail passes by a small spur (on the left), to Richmond Overlook. In roughly 0.6 miles, a trail (to the left) will take you to Perry's Peak. Here, the trail takes a right turn and begins descending back to the fields.

Flora: Chestnut, Indian Cucumber, Partridgeberry, Sheep Sorrel.
Fauna: Black-Cap Chickadee.
