ADA Accessible This trail is a short, paved track that goes past markers describing the history of the battle.

Need to Know

There is a port a potty at the parking lot, but that is the only service at the trail. All other services are available at the visitor center, a short drive or walk from here.

Description

To access this trail, park at the old visitor center and hike toward the pavilion. There, the trail moves in a circle with views of a field spreading out before you. There are informational markers in the park that provide information on the history of the battle and the people who participated. The trail makes a small loop and brings you back to where you started. There is a picnic pavilion there if you would like to take a break and enjoy some food.
