Description
The west end of the trail is the playground and parking lot. Follow the sidewalk to the south/east and stay left at the fork to go into the park. After crossing a maintenance road, the trail enters the forest. There is no view of Spring Creek on this section, but there is a small bridge over a tributary creek. There is access to the creek below the bridge, so your dogs can cool off and get a drink. There is a little concrete path in the creek that covers a drainage pipe, so when water is low, you can hike down the creek a bit. The trail just ends abruptly, but it looks like the city is planning to extend it. There is access from 3 Oaks Drive at this end.
Flora & Fauna
We saw birds, squirrels, and rabbits. Of course lots of trees!
