Beginning at Jack Drake Park, the wide concrete trail runs upstream along the right bank of Greens Bayou to an at-grade crossing of Imperial Valley Drive. Access to City View Park is provided along with the Benmar Link to reach to the south. The Wussow Park Bridge provides the option to cross the bayou.

The greenway continues upstream on the right bank crossing Greens Road at grade and then continuing to Knobcrest Drive near I-45. A bridge moves the trail over to the left bank and it returns downstream with an at-grade crossing of Greens Road and a segment in Thomas R. Wussow Park before ending at Imperial Valley Drive.
