Description
The trail departs from the parking lot on the left hand side of the lot and makes its way through the palm trees and other shrubs that make up the environment of Canaveral National Seashore. The trail is a narrow, sandy trail that winds through palm trees and other flora that make up the area. Crossing a couple of wooden bridges over small creeks and waterways, the trail emerges at the Elora House, a two-story white residence that has been converted into a museum where artifacts can be viewed and a nice video provides history about the place. The trail continues along Mosquito Lagoon for a short distance and then turns to the right and follows the road, which provides access for those with disabilities and park staff, back to the parking area.
