The Three Sisters formation is the most iconic collection of "goblins" in the entire park. You can see it from the road, but parking at a pullout and walking this trail will earn you a closer look. Most people do it as a short out-and-back before continuing to the observation point parking area. The trail actually continues on, however, and drops to meet Carmel Canyon Loop. This makes some various loop hiking options or an alternative way to start toward Goblin's Lair Trail.
