Need to Know

This is a rough road that may not be suitable for all types of vehicles.

Description

Though there isn't a sign for the entrance into Major Gregory Sanborn WMA, the yellow gate marks the boundary. From the gate, the trail follows a gravel road towards the southern end of Lovewell Pond. The trail passes by Lewis Cemetery (on the left, where there is a small parking area. The trail continues to a junction, where it stays right. Here, at this junction, there's a cellarhole and a large stone foundation. The trail continues a bit further, until it reaches a red gate, where it ends.
