Description

Starting from the parking, at Back Cove Park, the loop can be traveled clockwise or counterclockwise. The trail follows a crushed gravel path around the cove. There are plenty of opportunities to see some marine wildlife, as well as many different kinds of waterfowl.

Flora & Fauna

Flora: Linden Trees, Japanese Knotweed, Pine Trees, Northern White Cedar, Bladderwrack(?), Dandelion, Whitlow-Grass, Wintercress.
Fauna: Seagulls, Periwinkle Snails, Mergansers, Clams, Mallards, Song Sparrows, House Sparrows.
