Description
The Canyon Center Bridge Trail is a short trail from the visitor center, over the bridge, and to the trailheads that provide access to Little River Falls. To access the trail, park at the Little River Canyon Center and hike along the right side of the visitor center on the concrete path way and down to the the intersection with the Canyon Center
Path to Learning Trail.
Go to the right and hike down to an information kiosk that has a map showing you the path that leads over to the waterfalls. The trail narrows into a singletrack trail at this point that weaves through the woods, through some creek beds that either need to be rock hopped or cross over a small wooden "bridge."
There are rocks and roots that need to be navigated as you travel the path. You emerge from the woods close to the bridge that crosses the river. A boardwalk weaves under the bridge and winds back up to the road. The trail follows the road across the bridge, separated by traffic by a guardrail. There are several viewpoints with benches where you can sit and enjoy the river heading to the falls.
After crossing the bridge, you emerge at the Little River Falls trailhead where several trailheads lead down to the river and the waterfalls. From here, you can explore the falls area more and then return to your car by retracing your steps.
