Family Friendly Easy terrain and lots of trail markers. Trail is on Pocomoke State Forest land and hunting is allowed. Wearing blaze orange is recommended during deer rifle and muzzleloader seasons.

Description

Park at the furnace town parking lot; the trailhead is at the south end of the lot. Look for the yellow dot at the trailhead. Follow the trail as it loops for 1.8 miles back to the parking lot.

Flora & Fauna

Oak, holly, loblolly and globally rare shortleaf pine.
