The parking area is up a steep little hill, that may not be accessible to all types of vehicles.

Description

This trail starts from the parking area and heads southward. Here, the trail picks up an old woods road and follows it to the right. It winds its way through the woods, following the blue diamonds. The trail passes by a view spur (on the left), and continues to the Red Trail. Here, the trail takes a right turn. It passes by another view spur (on the right), before descending to the edge of Long Meadow Brook. The trail traverses the squishy banks of Long Meadow Brook, before arriving at the Red Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Flora: Eastern Hemlock, Birch, Beech.
Fauna: Red Squirrel, Beaver (dams and gnawmarks), Juncos.
