Description

The trickiest part of this trail is the start. You can either take your boots off and ford the creek or take a somewhat treacherous rock hop. From there you press up the hill at a pretty regular pace.

After crossing the Rocky Fork Creek you find an old logging road that seems more practical than aesthetic (no waterfalls, no viewpoints, etc.). Much of the trail mirrors watersheds. This leads the trail to have some muddy spots where you typically would not expect them. Also being a trail shared with horses, there are a good bit of loose cobbles.

Flora & Fauna

I didn't see any but the rangers report a lot of bear activity in the area.
