Paid parking available in town
The trail offers shade most of the way.
Description
The trail starts from the side of the road (no parking available nearby). It is well marked and easy to follow and starts with a steep climb and gets flatter later on.
Some information signs are available along your journey, describing in particular how some of the load bearing walls were built by local farmers and shepherds more than a 100 years ago—giving their names to the trail!
