Description

This trail begins on the south side of W. Bellfort Street on the east bank of the diversion channel (D140-00-00). The wide concrete trail runs due north to the Bankside Bridge, which provides access to the adjoining neighborhoods. The trail continues to a grade crossing at Willowbend Boulevard.

The trail surface changes to an older, but serviceable, asphalt at this point, with one grade crossing at Dumbries Drive before ending at S. Braeswood Boulevard. The safest way to access the Brays Bayou Greenway is to use the sidewalk to hike about 500 feet east to the pedestrian crossing at the Bob White Drive Access and Bridge.
