Description

This short spur is found at the 2.6 mile mark along Watershed Crest Trail. It is marked by a small wooden sign. Go right/north here, to hike to the viewpoint at the end of this spur.

Beginning in the beautiful forest, there are glimpses of the area's mountains to the east, through the trees. The trail soon emerges from the trees and crosses a service road. Go slightly left here to pick up the path on the other side of the service road. Almost immediately, one arrives at the viewpoint and its large cement block structure, where this spur trail ends.

Flora & Fauna

Mixed forest with grassy undergrowth.

A short, pretty trail through the pines and grass leads to a great viewpoint.
