Pass required for Tamarancho trails - sunshinebicycle.com/pages/c…

Description

There are three sections of Blue Ridge Fire Road. The upper section (this one) is a wind-swept fire road that goes over the top of White Hill. The middle section goes nowhere (there's a private section that's closed), and the lower section is a rocky, loose gravel road that goes down into Cascade Canyon and connects to Middle Fire Road.

As for this section: From the north, it's a steep uphill, gradually getting less steep as you approach the top of White Hill. From the south, it's not as steep, but a bit longer. The view from the top is the payoff.

You don't need a Camp Tamarancho Pass for trails in White Hill Preserve or Cascade Canyon Preserve.
