Description

Camino Alto Fire Road starts just up the road from Bob Middagh Trail with a very steep uphill. When it levels out, take a breather and take in the view of Mill Valley.

From there, you can hike Octopus Trail (singletrack) over to Escalon Fire Road. If you continue straight, you'll go over the hill to where Camino Alto Fire Road becomes Del Casa Fire Road as it crosses Escalon.

Del Casa has a steep climb up to a flat section, then you can turn right onto Val Vista Trail (singletrack) or go straight down very steep gravel.
