The South Suburban Reservoir is open to humans and dogs, but only dogs can swim in the reservoir.

Description

Very flat half-mile loop on a smooth dirt road with great views of the Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, and Cheyenne Mountain. This loop is fantastic for speed work.

Directions: Take Ridgeway Trail or Ridge Trail from the Ridgeway Trail for ~1 mile. Alternatively, follow Stratton Springs Path from La Veta Trailhead.
