Family Friendly Access to the American Ridge Lodge

Park at the bottom

Description

The terrain is maintained as the lodge is a rental area for the Naches Forest Dept. The lodge was built in 1935 to attract skiing to the Pacific Northwest and was the only one of its kind in the area until White Pass Ski opened. There isn't cellular signal, electricity, or running water at the lodge. There is a small spring in the meadow below the lodge with lots of area to pitch a tent and access to the 26 mile American Ridge Trail.
