Description

This is a go-to loop for walkers and families due to its accessibility. More experienced hikers or folks looking for more strenuous exercise can take one of the "spoke" trails out and up to the Rim Trail.

This loop has lots of short, "punchy" hills, some of which in the south and eastern ends are fairly steep (use caution with a heavy stroller).

Restrooms are located every half mile or so and picnic areas are also interspersed.
