This trail begins at the southeast corner of Memorial Drive and Shepherd Drive. After about 1/4 mile run along Memorial Drive, the trail descends to the lower bank of the bayou. Beginning at the Green Tree Nature Area, the trail continues downstream, sharing the route at times with the Sandy Reed Left Bank Trail. Note that wheeled vehicles (bicycles, roller blades, etc.) are not permitted on the Footpath but may be present on the portions shared with the Sandy Reed Left Bank Trail.
