This trail starts from an unmarked parking area. This trail has been neglected for many years and may be difficult to navigate.

Need to Know

While it appears that new blazes have been added to the trees, no recent trail maintenance has been conducted. Some blazes (from older trails) are still present, but those trails appear to have been de-commissioned.

Description

When people say "get lost", this is the trail they're referring to. The trail starts from an unmarked parking area on the north side of Route 7. This trail follows red blazes, though some spots may still have some blue. It parallels the road for a short ways and crosses over a few small brooks.

The trail turns left and climbs uphill, along an old logging trail. The trail turns right (off the logging trail) and follows a singletrack along the rocky edge of the hill. It turns right and, eventually, connects with another old logging trail. It follows this back to the fork in the trail.
