Description

This unmarked trail connects the Blackledge Falls to the Red Outer Loop Trail at Gay City State Park. The trail begins at the parking area at Blackledge Falls and runs on the inside of the guardrail along the road before entering the woods off of Foote Ln. Although the trail is unmarked, it is well traveled and is mostly easy to follow. This trail passes through part of the Meshomasic State Forest where hunting is allowed, so it is important to wear orange. Hunting is not permitted at Gay City State Park and within Blackledge Falls park.
