This is not a through trail despite what the map kiosks show. The trail is gated (halfway through) and the footbridges are unsafe to travel on. The road to access the parking area is rough.

Description

From the parking area above the dam, head southeast along the main road. The trail arcs around the Gardner Falls Station and travels along its eastern edge. Just after descending the large stone stairs, you'll have to cross two footbridges that will take you to a closed gate. These footbridges are unsafe to travel over, unless you are nimble and light-footed.

Travel back to the parking area to pick up the other half of the trail. This section travels through the wooded edge of Gardner Falls to the other side of the closed gate.

Flora & Fauna

Flora: Wild Grapes, False Dragonhead.
Fauna: Catbird.
