Split Rock Trail is found at the large parking area and equestrian staging area on the west side of the road. Look for a small sign pointing the way to Split Rock Trail.

This short, flat trail is entirely in the woods. Very quickly one see a huge rock ahead, among the trees. This rock with a giant split all the way through it, is soon reached. Hike around the rock to explore the split up close, from all angles.

Although a trail continues past the rock, the rock is the big attraction and this description ends here.
