Description

Forum Falls Spur is a very short spur trail found at the 1.4 mile mark along Akamina Pass Trail. Turn left/south here to explore Forum Falls.

Forum Falls Spur is in the 2017 Kenow Wildfire burn area, thus travels through new, thick, bright green, low vegetation as the area recovers from the burn. Forum Falls are reached after a short 0.2 miles on this spur trail. The trail ends at the bottom of the falls, up close to them.

To further explore, one can backtrack on Forum Falls Spur to Forum Lake Trail, and hike to Forum Lake, the source of the creek cascading down Forum Falls.

Flora & Fauna

Thick new, bright green low vegetation that is part of the natural recovery cycle from a wildfire, in this case the 2017 Kenow Wildfire. Wildflowers. Bears live here.
