Description

Sentier de l'Imbut starts and ends at the hotel/restaurant Les Cavaliers. The quiet run-up to the gorge is short-lived. Almost immediately you start the descent down. 'Large steps home quickly' certainly applies here. The pendulum downwards is quite vertical and you can regularly take large steps downwards. As a result, half an hour later you are at the wildly flowing river Verdon. Here you can cross the bridge for Sentier de Martel. But it is better to keep hiking on the left along the bank for the most beautiful hike through the heart of the gorges.
