Description
The loop starts with parking just off Mt Nathan Road. As you begin the trek, you'll find the track wide and rocky, with some minor water crossings depending on the time of the year. You can generally make the water crossings without getting wet.
Approximately 3.5 Kilometers in, there is a steep ascent to the top of the ridge. The midsection is easy and enjoyable, with lovely views from the top of the hill. The last 1/4 of the track is a steep downhill descent. There are several blowdowns along the route.
Once you make it to the bottom, a short hike along the roadside finds you back at your vehicle. Overall the track is moderately complex. There is no water available on the route.
Flora & Fauna
Seeing this is Australia, and pretty much everything is dangerous, it's best to keep to the path and not touch anything you are unfamiliar with. Several species of trees and birds to enjoy.
