Description

This trail is blazed blue and red and is off of the Valley Falls Loop Trail (Blue/Yellow Trail) or Bolton Road. From the Valley Falls Loop Trail, after splitting off the blue/yellow trail, this blue/red trail immediately begins to climb up toward Bolton Rd, where the trail splits into another smaller loop. This loop at the top of the trail is not maintained as well compared to the main loop section, but can provide access to Bolton Rd. The trail descends back down on the other side of the main loop to end where it started.

Parts of this trail can be a little muddy, especially near the bottom of the trail. Although the trail is part of Bolton Notch State Park, the trail is accessed from Valley Falls Park trails or from the Hop River State Park Trail.

Parking is available at Valley Falls Park to the north or at Freja Park or Bolton Notch State Park to the south.
