Description
Easy trail shared with bikes and sometimes people with strollers. Accessible for little legs (children) or people with some mild mobility issues. Runs along the former Erie canal trail, some spots of shade but mostly open. Red tailed hawks, red wing blackbirds, sometimes goldfinches, swallows and a blue jay or two. Be aware of ticks - the trail is wide, but the tall brush/grass on either side is likely to have ticks from April until October-ish. Bug spray is recommended.
