Description

This is one of several trails at the 28-acre Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve. The Outer Loop/Creek Trail begins as a spur off Beaver Pond Trail (next to the pollinator garden and pavilion). It runs west over the wetlands--and over a boardwalk before turning west as it follows the South Fork of Peachtree Creek--changing from singletrack to double and back. Moving east, it passes north of the (seasonal) beaver pond before continuing along the creek. At the eastern edge of the preserve, the trail meets the Wetland Meadow Trail that runs south and west.

Flora & Fauna

Over 300 species of native Georgia plans and animals.
