Description

If climbing from the gate by the Lake Logan dam, this spur is the old Lickstone Gap Road that went over the ridge and down into Waynesville.

After the initial climb, which is just over 3 miles in length, this trail will head off to the right (north). It extends another 3+ miles along an infrequently traveled section of trail but a stretch with amble cascading water and great views to the east. Other than coming up 97B (Sunburst Cutoff ) this is my favorite stretch in the CM Gamelands.

Toward the end, the trail forms a Y with each part of the Y extending out another ~.5 miles before ending.
