Description

The Talcott Ravine trail starts at the parking area at the end of Main St and travels east along Talcottville Pond and the Tankerhoosen River. Near the end of the trail, there is a split near some old mill ruins. The lower trail continues to follow the river and ends at a large rock outcrop with a view of the Dobsonville dam. The upper trail climbs up to Dobson Road. Both entrances to the trail are also very close to the Hop River Rail Trail.

Parking is available in a small lot at the end of Main St.

This trail is managed by the Northern CT Land Trust.
