Family Friendly Gentle slope and paved, frequently used by families with strollers.

Description

This trail was actually a road (Summit Drive/Hillhouse Drive) used seasonally for vehicle traffic through 2020 but has been dedicated to pedestrian use since the pandemic started. It is nicely paved and gently sloping but does cover several hundred vertical feet of rise up to the top of East Rock park where there are lovely scenic views.
